He is the very best all-around problem-solver and most competent handyman I could hope for. I own 5 apartment buildings (total of 16 apartment units) plus my own home, and Ronnie has been always the one reliable, intelligent, and dedicated person I could count on. He has done everything from troubleshooting a pesky leak in a roof to being the architect and designer for a $50,000 renovation of an apartment house. When he takes on a project his eye is on doing the best job he can. When he sees something he can't do, he finds a specialist for that task. He had reasonable subcontractors on hand for the specialized jobs, like plumbing. He was even able to find the one flooring company in LA that could repair a vintage 1920's floor that required wood no longer on the market.
He would dropped everything to do a job on an emergency basis for me -- more like a friend would do a favor for a friend than as a person hired for the job (of course he got paid!). This was to remedy a situation that had triggered an emergency code inspection. It took all day Sunday and Monday to get it done. The inspectors came Tuesday and declared the property to be in top shape.
A final note. The contractor who fixed the vintage floor got a close look at how Ronnie worked. When the job was done, he asked, "Where did you find Ronnie?" I told him that I'd picked up his card at a hardware store. This man only said, "You're a lucky guy."

Ronnie was originnaly refered to me through an aquaintance over 8 years ago for handyman work. Since then I have used him on a regular basis for a variety of jobs from small to large.
Over time I came to trust Ronnie enough to give him keys to all three of my units, and he could then work on behalf of my tenent's needs at a time that worked for both.
There have been times when I needed his help with little or no notice, and Ronnie would accommodate that.
